I can't believe it is goodbye. It was only yesterday I saw you here in Sarasota. Funny how we both ended up here so very far from our beginnings. I remember the days we would run the halls of high school and wreck havoc. Your light, your spirit is beautiful. I am lucky to have shared in your life.

I read a poem at Rob's funeral, called "All is Well" by Henry Scott Cannon (1847-1918). The poem starts "Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped into the next room. I am I, and you are you.
Rob was, at the end of his life, genuine, in a beautiful location, good place with his friends. He was at a joyous occasion. He was smiling and laughing. Death came suddenly and unexpectedly -- and he was the center of attention. He would have loved the fuss -- but regretted the sorrow to his family and friends. His creativity will not be forgotten. "Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well."

I loved Rob so very much. But little did I know HOW MUCH he truly meant to me. My life has been forever changed because I knew him. I'll never forget him...never.

No amount of time in the world would be enough for all of his greatness. One of the most respectful and thoughtful individuals I have been blessed by.
Prayers for his family and friends-and to Rob-
I miss you terribly and life will never be the same without you. I'm so thankful for our time together. You will always be my angel. I am with you.

Though my time with Rob was limited I immediately recognized what a wonderful man he was. I feel as though I've been robbed of a wonderful opportunity to have had a very dear friend.

I was one of the lucky individuals to have been blessed with Rob's friendship. His ability to give to others in need, along with his undeniable talent and sense of humor were characteristics that others only hope to have. He will be dearly missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Rob's passing. I have often thought of Rob through the years. We had some great times at Menifee High School, he was an incredible person and a great friend. You could not ask for a sweeter person. He was always there for me when I needed him. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Rob was one of my closest friends, and hardly a day went by that we didnt share a tale, a dinner or a laugh. I will always think of him and remember his special laugh, his generosity, his loyalty and his outstanding talents he shared with us all.
