Mine and Peri's loss has been very difficult but the outpouring of affection from relatives and friends has helped us bear the burden. All of us that love Nancy know that she would want us to carry on, occasionally sharing a story or one of her captured memories. Thanks all that have expressed your sympathy.

Nancy was an awesome lady. She was always so friendly. She was always smiling and was often found in the center of a good laugh. We first met Nancy when she was president of KPPA. Even though she was clearly in the elite of the elite of our organization, she warmly embraced each member, new and old, with her beautiful warm smile and big sisterly affection. Our heart is broken for the dear friend that we have lost. Our prayers are with her family. May the Lord Jesus Christ provide them comfort during this most difficult time.

Rick and Peri, Mr and Mrs Watson,
We were in total disbelief when you called about Nancy's sudden death. It is hard to find the words to convey our sorrow for you all. I (Karen) had spoken with her at length last summer while I was planning a Big-0 birthday party for Barbara and Beverly. We had a fun time reminiscing about the past years and other times our paths crossed. I know she and Barbara were close friends in High School and College. We are all glad we got to chat with her at Bev's funeral last August. We don't understand why these things happen like they do. God has a plan here, as hard as it is to see, but with his loving arms around you at these moments, he will lead and guide and comfort all of you in ways you couldn't imagine. I have learned that our memories are a beautiful gift from God. Each passing day these memories become more and more cherished. I pray this for you all. With our love, prayers and sympathy...be comforted.

I was just hearbroken to hear about the passing of Nancy. She and I became quick friends through KPPA. We worked together on the print committee and spent some late nights working together. She was always willing to help anyone and was so fun to sit and talk to. I will miss her presence at our conventions. My heart and prayers go out to Rick and Peri-whom Nancy loved with all her heart.

Nancy and I was on the board of directors for the Kentucky Professional Photographers (KPPA). She was so wonderful with a deep desire to help other photographers increase their talents. In short she was my friend and a friend to everyone she meet.

Rick -
My son Alec played soccer with Peri many years ago and that is when I met you and Nancy. I am so sorry for your loss. I too know the heartache of the loss of a spouse (Ron in 2003). May God bless and comfort you and Peri during this difficult time.

Nancy was President of KPPA when I first joined 3.5 years ago..She was the first member that walked up to me and introduced herself to me and made me feel welcome being there...She was a wonderful mentor, photographer and friend, and will be missed dearly...

I am so saddened by the loss of Nancy. I used to go to Church with her. She took my engagement pictures and family pictures. My daughter is two months older than my daughter, I wish I could carry some of the pain that Peri and Rick bear right now. I just want them to know that I am praying for them.

Nancy was my cousin by marriage. I was a ring bearer in her and Rick's wedding. I always felt close to her, because when I was a child, she would have conversations with me like I was an adult. She was very intelligent and we talked about lots of random stuff. One of my earliest and funniest memories of her was that she would finally pay me to be quiet when she tired of our convos!
I am still so in shock that we lost Nancy so suddenly. She will be missed always.

Nancy and I worked together at the Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Kentucky in the 1980s. She was a wonderful colleague and great human being and I am greatly saddened by her loss. My deepest consolation to her family.
