Atlanta, Georgia - Nancy Boggs Simon, 84, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on March 17, 2021.
Nancy was born in Lexington, Kentucky to parents Cecil Vernon and Myrtle Meyers Boggs. She attended the University of Kentucky where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was a member of Perimeter Presbyterian Church and was an active member in the Victors group.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Simon. Survivors include: daughter, Kimberly Anne Brown of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sons William Bradley Simon of Houma, Louisiana and Joseph Matthew Simon of Atlanta, Georgia; sister Sandra Boggs Baynham of Lexington, Kentucky; cousin Rick Beecher Adams of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren William Andrew Simon, Jonathan Bradley Simon, Brianna Kelly Simon Robinson, Erin Brown Umphrey, Parker Ansley Simon, and Broden Matthew Simon.
A visitation will be held on March 29, at 2 p.m. at Crowell Funeral Home. The visitation will be followed by a Celebration of life at 3 p.m.

Although we were cousins, Nancy and I always were more like sister and brother. We grew up together in the best of times and were great life-long friends. She and Joe were two of the finest people on the planet. I know they are together again.
