Leigh, I was sorry to hear of your mother's death. I was out of town at the time and didn't hear until yesterday.
Are you aware of Mrs. Whitlock's death. She was near her 88th birthday and just had all of the problems usually associated with age. I visited her often in the place she stayed. She got to where she hardly knew me.
Now for the death that shocked me. Terry (whitlock) also died. She had an unusual cancer that is very hard to detect. She wore a mask at her mother's funeral and a mutual friend told me about her cancer.
That leaves just Kim and Jenny and their children in that family. All three older boys had already died in automobile accidents a good while back.
I know this is not where you usually put all of this gossip but I didn't know how to reach you and thought you would be interested in Eilene and Terry.

Leigh and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Nita was so good to all of us all those years. I won't beable to attend but wanted you to know you guys are in my thoughts and prayers. Nita and Red and yourself have provided a lot of great memories for a lot of people. God Bless you all.

For many years Nita was like a second mother to me. She made the best pimento cheese in Lexington! Thoughts and prayers are with you.
