Dear Mrs. Combest, I send you my sincerest
condolences. Paul and I were friends at Eastern for all four years. We served in ROTC and Pershing Rifles and were commissioned together. We both served in Korea about the same time. One of my fondest memories of Korea was a weekend when Paul, Dallas Vanhoose, Harry Campbell, Brandt Coleman and I (there may have been others, these are the ones I remember) had a mini-reunion in Seoul. We had a great time. Paul and I corresponded over the years via email , mostly after we both retired. Paul and several members of the class of '62 had another mini-reunion a few years ago at Arlington House on the Eastern Campus. That was great fun. Mrs. Combest I am so sorry for the loss of Paul. He was a good friend, fellow classmate, fellow Army Officer and fellow patriot. I Join you in your grief. Blessings to you.

We are so sorry for your loss! I will always think of Paul when we have fresh tomatoes...he was a great neighbor for the last 11 years.
