I am saddened to read of the passing of Dick. I was assigned to Cincinnati, OH for my first domicile as a United States Postal Inspector. Dick mentored me in so many ways. He was a good man who revered Kentucky. Paul FX Lowery

I knew Dick when I was in Lexington in 1986 to 1993. Dick was a tenacious investigator, but always fair and thorough. He was a true professional and had those traits that make a law enforcement officer a credit to his agency.

I audited Dick's post office when I was a young Postal Inspector assigned to Hazard and later worked with him on some audits as an Inspector. He was always happy, friendly and a friend.
