Stephen Mazyck Obituary

MAZYCK Stephen Crain (Zeke), born May 23, 1955, died Aug 7, 2008 died of blunt force trauma to the head and was put on train tracks and hit by a train. Zeke was born on an Indian reservation in Cherokee, NC and was called Natae. His natural parents, a Cherokee woman called Fox Eyes and a white man, name unknown, soon died. He then lived with his grandfather until he passed away, then was adopted into the Mazyck family in Lexington, Kentucky. He went to Morton Middle and Henry Clay High School and 2 years of college. His adopted parents soon died in a house fire. Zeke has worked for Lexmark, Tracey Winburn of Nicholasville, Danny Thomas of Lexington, and David Royce of Rolls Royce Carpeting and Flooring, also of Lexington. Survivors are Wendy Muchow, 55, girlfriend of 22 1/2 years, her 3 children Tony Muchow, 33, Angela Muchow, 30, and Daniel Muchow, 23, along with 4 grandchildren, Keith Fox, 11, Brittany Fox, 5, Bailey Fox, 3, and Ethan Muchow, age 3, and one on the way. Wendys family was Zekes family and loved him so much and he meant a lot to all of us. He had countless friends and was loved by so many. He will be missed terribly. God rest his soul. Please pray for him. Graveside services will be at 11am Fri at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 9:15-10:15am Fri at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main Street.

He was a friend. Of my children when he was a boy. We went hiking with him and his adopted father, Lipton Mazyck, and his brother Henri Mazyck. RIP

Zeke,
May GOD rest your soul brother, we never know from day to day how we're going back home. rest with JESUS my son,we will pray to get some of sense out of this. Zeke you touched so many lives, you will not be forgotten. Wendy,prayers will be with you and the family
