Timothy Snoddy Obituary
SNODDY Timothy K., 51, husband to his devoted wife, C. Elise Buckley Snoddy, died Sun, Aug. 27, 2006 in the fatal crash of Flight 5191 at Lexington Bluegrass Field. Born in Ashland, KY, he was the son of Clinton and Joann Boyle Snoddy of Lexington. Mr. Snoddy was the President of Snoddy Consulting, Inc. and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky in 1976. He was a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Kentucky and Florida, Certified Valuation Analyst belonging to the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Diplomate, American Board of Forensic Accountants with the American College of Forensic Examiners, and was a Financial Consultant in Collaborative Family Practice. Snoddy Consulting, Inc. was based in Lexington, KY, with an office in Florida, but served the entire Southeastern U.S. Tim was a qualified expert witness in the U.S. District and Circuit Courts; performed business valuations of privately held companies in a broad array of industries, and was skilled in all areas of financial consulting. Timothy Snoddy was a quintessential Southern gentleman; a one-of-a-kind, cutting edge professional with a big heart, steel trap mind, and a quick & warm smile. He will be sorely missed by family, friends and his many business associates. Survivors other than his wife and parents include two sons, Matthew (Wendy) Snoddy, and Joshua Q. Snoddy; a daughter, Jocelynn (Joseph) Morgan, three grandchildren, Brennan, Charles, and Alice; three step- children, Katherine Amy Buckley, Sarah Buckley Faulkner, and Benjamin F. Buckley, V; and a sister, Terrie (Farley) Stuart. Funeral Services will be held at Kings Way Church in Versailles [across from the castle] on Wed, Sept. 20 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m., at the church prior to the service. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made in memory of Mr. Snoddy to Gideons International, Lexington West Camp, P.O.
