William Rosenberg

ROSENBERG William "Bill" Tomas, age 72, of Jefferson, passed away on Sun, Feb 21, 2016. Mr. Rosenberg was born in Chester, PA, a son to the late Leonard King Rosenberg and the late Evelyn Crossett Rosenberg. Mr. Rosenberg was the Executive Director of the United States Judo Association and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morehead, KY. Mr. Rosenberg was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the Jefferson American Legion Post 56, Jefferson Lions Club and the Kiwanis Club in Morehead KY. Survivors include his wife, Alice Clark Rosenberg of Jefferson, Georgia and son, William "Bill" Thomas Rosenberg, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA. A Memorial service will be held on Fri, Feb 26, 2016 at 5pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Pierce officiating. The visitation will be held on Friday afternoon from 3-5pm at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service. The burial will follow on Sun, Feb 28, 2016 at 1pm in the Hagans Family Cemetery in Langley, KY. In lieu of flowers, Bill (Santa Claus) would like for you to consider a donation to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, in care of Janice Mangum, Sheriff, to be used for Christmas toys for the children of this county.
