Elaine Gransee Obituary
Elaine Ruth Gransee, 87, of Kasson, MN passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN. Elaine was born on January 26, 1938, to Ewald and Erna (Steege) Pipho. She graduated from Lyle high school. On November 10, 1957, she married Howard Gransee and together they had three sons. She enjoyed raising her 3 boys and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchild. In her spare time, Elaine would bake beautiful wedding cakes and enjoyed working on her craft business Carpenter Sisters with Paulette Riedel. Another of Elaine's favorite things to do was travel with Howard and her sister and brother-in-law Velda and Rollis Jensen. Elaine was a very active member of the Kasson Presbyterian Church and PW women's group. Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Howard Gransee of Kasson, MN; sons, Steven (Teresa) Gransee of New Richmond, WI, David (Beth) Gransee of Kasson, MN and Robert (Judy) Gransee of Mantorville, MN; brother, Norman Pipho of Pine Island, MN; sister, Jeanette Pettis of Elgin, MN; grandchildren, Nicole (Jake) Heil, Heather (Shannon) Abbott, Mitchell Gransee, Ashley (Nick Loomis) Gransee, Dylan (Madison) Gransee, Nathan (Heather) Gransee, Matt (Diana) Erwin, Bryce (Adrienne) Gransee, Megan (Matt) Erwin, Mark (Stevie) Gransee; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Logan, Lauren, Aubrey, Owen, Mariah, Trisha, Wyatt, Garrett, Stella, Lucy, Clay, Kayleen, Talon, Payton, Teigen, Maycie, Parker, Lanna, Alexis, Addilynn, Temperance, Rose, Oliver, Florence, and one great-great grandson, Bentley. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Merlin Pipho and Donald Pipho; sisters, Velda Jensen and Verla Hansen. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church, 101 6th Ave NW in Kasson, MN, with Reverend Loren Olson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson, MN. A private family interment will be in Fairview cemetery in Hayfield, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Presbyterian Church of Kasson and Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN.
