Vernon Weber Obituary

Vernon Peter Weber, 80, passed away on October 6, 2025, following a brief illness at Rochester Methodist Hospital. Vernon was born on April 3, 1945, to Charles and Stella (Evenson) Weber. Vern was born and raised in Stewartville and attended Stewartville Schools. He married Lucille (Ferguson) Weber on December 13, 1969, in Stewartville. They then moved to Rochester where they lived and raised their family. He served in the United States Air Force as an electrician/radio technician and then worked in the echocardiology lab at Mayo Clinic for 42 years. He was proud of his contributions to the lab, from being one of the first lab employees to participating in the building of the Scottsdale and Jacksonville labs. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, gambling, all Minnesota sports, and traveling with Lucille. He is survived by sons Wade (Amy) Weber, Brent (Heather) Weber; grandchildren Caleb Regehr and Josie Weber; brother Francis Weber; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lucille Weber and son Derek Weber. A small graveside service for family and friends will be held at 10 am on October 9, 2025, at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
