Mike, Sue, and Kay,
I am very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I just found out. It is hard to believe how fast time passes. It’s probably been about 40 years since the last time I was "hanging out" at your house. I do remember your mom as a gracious hostess. She was always so friendly to me and seemed to always ask if I need a beverage or water. I wasn’t always too sure about Big Frank. It was hard to tell if he liked me coming around or not. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Shivar and my sister, Talmar Roop Whitehurst were dear friends so I got to see Shivar many times over the years. They had many good times working together at Parrott and Lenoir Memorial Hospital. I especially enjoyed being with them when they went to Kings on Friday and "tried" to eat all that fish. Shivar was very faithful in visiting my sister when she was too sick to be out. Shivar's company was very enjoyable and her "wit" most entertaining. We will miss her. Will hold all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
