I've been thinking about you all day Poppy Alex. I miss you so much. I miss hearing you walk in my front door every Friday with you laundry in hand saying Heyy everybody!. Oh, what I would do to hear you say this just one last time! I wish you were still here every moment of every day. You took me in your family with the most humblest of hearts. You may have been my father-in-law for only a few short years, but you will ALWAYS be in my heart and on my mind as if I have known you my whole life. I find coming here comforting reading everyone's messages. You have touched so many lives in so many different ways. I am honored to have had you in my life. We love and miss you sooo very much! It has been very hard adjusting to our new reality. I really dislike goodbyes so, till I see you again Poppy Alex!

I've known Bubble all my life!! Since I was very little he would always ask me to sing and even as I became grown he always asked for a song. He was very encouraging and uplifting! He always had a smile on his face and always asked if I was doing okay. He was a grandfather to my daughter and she was just talking about how much she loved him and how kind he was, a few days before his passing. This is a hurtful shock to my whole family!! I'm praying for peace and comfort for the family and friends of Bubble. Definitely definitely gone tooooooo soon!!!!

We will be unable to attend today, but please know that your family is in our hearts and prayers. We miss you very much; your laugh, your contagious smile, your mild manner. Although we miss you, we know you're in a better place and at everlasting peace. Rest well, Wingman.

Chief, I can still hear your booming laugh. The not so subtle you gon' eat that? There is a lot I don't understand about this, but I do know a couple things. You were always there. When I had no help you came to my aid. You didn't even know my name! The years past and our lives would cross at intervals and it was always like we had just left each other's company a couple hours before. I took it for granted that you would always be there laughing and we would meet again on this journey as we had so many times before. Jovial, quick witted, kind, forgiving, gentle, compassionate.... it's a long list. The world is lacking that much hope and happiness without you in it. Thank you for impacting so many lives with your positivity. Thank you for helping a lonely kid so many years ago. I could never repay that kindness.
Hug Someone you love today people and tell them you love them as often as you can. Life is such a tenuous thread.

The only memories I hold for my cousin/uncle Bubba are 1) he was always smiling and full of good cheer, 2) he loved family and was guaranteed to be at every family celebration, and 3) he always expressed how proud he was of me. Those are great memories that I will cherish in his passing. I know our family will endure this pain because of the hope we all place in Jesus Christ. Rest In Peace. Love you always and will be missing you every time the family gets together.
