Billie Bates Obituary

BATES, BILLIE REAGAN - age 73 of Seymour, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 30, 2007. She was an active member of Dupont Baptist Church. Mrs. Bates loved her family and enjoyed working as the chairperson of the Reagan Reunion Commitee. Preceded in death by: parents, Earl F. Reagan and Eula Reagan; husband, Ollie C. Reagan; husband, Donald Bates; two sisters, Flo Gibson and Mabel Murphy. Survivors include: her son, Danny C. Reagan; two step-grandchildren, Justin and Lindsey Maples; three brothers, Charles Reagan of Three Rivers, Mass., Jim Reagan and wife Betty Jo of Pigeon Forge, Everette Reagan and wife Gail of Sevierville; sister-in-law, Lena Reagan; brother-in-law, Carl Gibson; special friend, Velma Kerr and several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at Highland South Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Dupont Baptist Church on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dallas Moore and Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Graveside services will follow funeral services in Dupont Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Dupont Baptist Church, 1711 Dupont Road, Seymour, TN 37865.
