Edna Wise Obituary
Lenoir City, TN
Edna Luttrell Wise, age 89, of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday evening, April 2, 2017 at her home. She was the oldest living member of Lenoir City First Church of the Nazarene.
Preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin "Gene" Wise; son, Robert Wise; parents, Vernon L. and Mabel McReynolds Luttrell; sisters, June Farren and Ruby Jones, and brothers, Charles "Bud" Luttrell and Glenn Luttrell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Bill Saul of Lenoir City; daughter-in-law, Linda Wise of Jonesboro, TN; grandchildren, Starr and Jeff Murr, Paul Wise, Ben and Brooke Saul, John and Amy Saul, and Adam Saul; great-grandchildren, Sadie, Luna, Madison, Ethan, Savannah, Elizabeth, Ryan, and Trent; sisters and brother-in-law, Shannah Armstrong, Nancy and David Mikels, and Betty Wiggins; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to caregivers, Joy and Kay; Amedysis Hospice nurses Lacey, Tina and Patty and Chaplain Greg Harper.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Lenoir City First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. David Smith and Chaplain Greg Harper officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Thursday morning and proceed to Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment. Serving as pallbearers: Tyler Pritchard, Matt Brewster, Jason Poole, Stewart Williams, Mike Deacon, Bobby Amburn, and Aaron Williams.
