Edward Ray Shubert

Lenoir City, TN

Edward R. Shubert (Eddy) age 73 of Lenoir City passed away Friday, July 21, 2017. Eddy was retired from TVA with 33 years of service and active with the Good Samaritan Center for over ten years. Eddy also served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Jeanette Shubert; step-mother, Lucille Shubert; brothers, Jimmy Shubert and Billy Shubert. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris Banks Shubert; son, Anthony Shubert; sisters, Joann Oran and Lucinda Jobe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Rhonda Shubert, Tommy and Debbie Shubert; sister-in-law, Debbie Shubert of Indiana; aunt and uncle, Judy and Wayne Howell; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Sunday, July 23rd at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Rev. Ron Jordan will officiate. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10:30 Monday to proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for 11 a.m. Graveside Services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Center, 119 A Street, Lenoir City, TN 37771. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements. www.clickfuneralhome.com
