I am a pharmacist at the Walgreens where Mr. Sharp was a customer. His laugh was contagious and he never once failed to brighten my day. He loved life and he loved his wife Ann. He always liked to tease about the fact that "us men" had better watch out for our wives... we don't want to get into any trouble. He liked to talk about cars with me. "Ann's going to get mad... I want to buy a new car again." He was one of the nicest men I've ever met. God bless the Sharp family.

What a wonderful gift heaven has been given... and what a blessed man we have lost. I worked with from 1986 - 1997 at Housecall, and I don't think I ever saw this man when there was not a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. Several years later, he was a patient at the physician's office where I worked. Elmer still remembered me. He also still had that smile and that twinkle - even when he didn't feel well.
Ann - this man loved you more than you will ever know. You have been a very lucky woman to have had the life with him that you did.
Elmer will be someone who never leaves my memories. You just don't get to meet too many people in a lifetime that are as happy as he was.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Sharp family during your time of loss and sorrow.

My prayers will continue on for Elmer's family as I walk past their home everyday. If there is a paper in the driveway, I will take it to the porch and remember the few times I had the pleasure to talk to Elmer.
Elmer liked my dog, Sparky, too. He was such a caring person.
He had such a great sense of humor. He will truly be missed.
May God bless Ann and their family with comfort and love, until they can all be together again. - Susan and Sparky

We just learned Thursday evening of Elmer's death. Other than my father, Elmer had the most positive impact on my career. I was a struggling young man with a wife and daughter in 1974 when Elmer hired me to work at the home care company where he was the accountant. In 1982, through an unusual chain of events, I purchased the company Elmer and I worked for. Elmer remained to support and help me throughtout the next 12 years. His early confidence in me and his support was vital to my business success. Elmer was a caring and compassionate man, and his love for his wife Ann and "my boy Mike" was always evident. He called Ann "Baby Doll", and I continue to call my wife Baby Doll, the phrase I picked up from Elmer. Elmer and I lost touch the past few years and I regret that, but he will always remain an important part of my life. He was a good and kind man. a good friend, and I had the utmost respect for him. We will miss you Elmer ........

Aunt Ann- I am so sorry for your loss. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of Uncle Elmer and Dad at family gatherings and holidays. I loved Uncle Elmer dearly, as did all who knew him. Praying that you find peace, comfort and solace with our Lord's strength.

I worked with Elmer for many years at Housecall Home Health. He was always known for his smiling face and kind spirit.
Everyone that was around Elmer for any length of time was made aware of his great love for his wife, son, granddaughter and extended family.
I am so sorry for your loss.
