Forrest Stacy Obituary

STACY, FORREST S. - age 83 of Farragut, TN formerly of Huntsville, AL passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Parkwest Medical Center. Forrest was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Huntsville. He was retired from the US Army and defended our country for more than 20 years. Following retirement, Forrest continued to work in various jobs including Civil Service. Above all, he accomplished in his life, he was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Forrest is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eula Stacy; daughter, Gail Gaut of Knoxville; son, Forrest E. Stacy of Arab, AL; granddaughter, Tammy Locklear of Decatur, AL; grandsons, Burke and Lonnie Gaut, both of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Julianna and Hunter; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL for graveside services with full military honors conferred by the US Army. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mission of Hope or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
