Frances Harrison Obituary

HARRISON, FRANCES POWELL - age 73 of Farragut, loving wife and mother, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 3, 2007. Mrs. Harrison was a member of First Baptist Church Concord and the Action Sunday School Class. Mrs. Harrison, was born in Fitzgerald, GA, was a teacher in Macon, GA and was a former employee of the Knox County Teacher Center. Previously she was a volunteer a Park West for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working cross word puzzles, crocheting, knitting, walking and gardening. Frankie is survived by: her husband of 53 years, William H. (Pete) Harrison; children, William F. (Bill) Harrison and wife Margo Harrison of Asheville, NC, Lynn Nobles Kerns and husband Scott Kerns of Cleveland, OH, Alisa Harrison of Kensington, MD, Jason Powell Harrison and wife Iris Harrison of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Ashley Lail and husband Joe Lail, Matt Dean, Lauren Frances and Harrison Tyler Nobles, Adison Alisa Kerns, Kyle Adam Harrison; great grandchildren, Halee Lauren Wright and Carter Bryce Lail; sister, Mary Lou Daley of Niceville, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church Concord followed by a Celebration of Life at 4 p.m. with Rev. Steve Peek officiating. The Harrison family would like to express their thanks to all the friends and family who supported Frankie and her family during this time, with special thanks to her Sunday School Class, members of her bridge club, neighbors in Ramsgate and the caring healthcare teams at U T Medical Center and Select Specialty Hospital.
