In late 2016, my wife ran out on our two boys and I and was writing bad checks out of state on our joint bank account. It was hundreds of dollars in the negative, she hadn't been paying bills so they were behind, and I had to manage my work, babysitters, my kids, and their schools all of a sudden all by myself. I was nearly sunk. The first and only time I met Greg, I went into his Capital Bank branch and explained the situation to him. The first and only time I met him he did me, a stranger, a major and zeroed out the negative balance and closed the account. I went back in months later and heard he had brain cancer and had left. That bothered me tremendously. I never forgot him or what he did. He was a good man and I'm terribly sorry he passed away. I hope that his family is well.

We were so sad to hear of Greg's passing. Our daughter Kayleigh was in Girl Scouts with Morgan when they were at Cedar Bluff Primary. They were in soccer together as well. Our prayers are with Shelly and the family in this difficult time. God Bless

We are heart broken at Greg's passing. Any words of ours would be insufficient to lessen your grief, our prayer is that you feel the presence of Christ during this time in the knowing that Greg is home with Jesus.
If there is anything Julia and I can do please let us know.

I'm so sorry to hear about Greg. The Swaffords have been friends of mine for many years. I always enjoyed being with Greg and his beautiful family when I would be a guest in the Swafford home. My love and my prayers go out to his precious family. Greg is now enjoying his eternal reward with a healthy, glorified body with his Heavenly Father. I love you guys and my prayers are with you during this tough time.

Shelly, you, your children, and the entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. It is such a tragedy that another young life has been taken by a monster disease. The past months have been horrific for you and your children. Please take time to heal and rest for you and your children. May God hold you and your children close and help you through the difficult times you go through as you grieve and heal. Please know if you need me in anyway I will try to help. God Bless...
