Dear Nicole, Bobbie, Sandi, Tom & Family,
I just heard of the loss of Joe. I could'nt believe it. None of the words you hear will give your grief any less pain. Thank God for faith, family, friends and time. Because these are the things that will get you through. I am so sorry for your loss. I will hold you all up in prayer and hope that God will ease your pain.

I am so sorry about the loss of your precious Joseph. There are no words that correctly convey losing of one's child. It almost takes one's breath away. Take care of yourself. You will be in my thoughts.
Gentle Hugs,

When a Child Dies...
To die one's self is a thing that must be easy,
and light of consequence;

But to lose a part of one's self--
well we know how deep that pang goes,

we who have suffered that disaster,
received that wound which cannot heal....

It is one of the mysteries of our nature that a man,
all unprepared can receive a thunder-stroke like that and live.

It will take mind and memory months
and possibly years
to gather together the details
and thus learn and know the whole extent of the loss.

I will certainly miss little Joseph. It doesn't seem right or even real to me that he is gone. He and Jesse are an inspiration to me. His cheerful outlook on life and his faith in God should set an example for all of us. I look forward to seeing him again some day.

The words to express the way we feel could never come.Joseph will be missed by all who's lives he ever touched. As for being able to be his Cub Master and watching him grow, learn, and accomplish his goals,I could never have been more proud. As for being his friend in passing and his friend through Christ, we are so very proud to say we were a part of Joseph's life, and that we are a part of Jesse's as well.We will always be here for your family and hope to see Jesse continue in scouting and grow up to be the Eagle that he so deserves. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.God bless you,The Knight Family

I am so sorry for your tremendous loss, I have a 5 year old boy & could never imagine such a loss. Look to the Lord for your help & strength & he will see you through. Also, listen to a song by Mark Bishop named (I think) 'I got here as fast as I could' & also the scripture 1st Thessalonians 4:13 &14. May these also comfort your broken hearts, I'm praying for all of you. Wayne Williamson (Maynardville, Tn)

I didn't know you or your precious son but as I watched the news last night and saw his story and his pictures, tears rolled down my face. I can only imagine what you are going thru as I don't know what I would do if something happened to one of my sons. Please know that there are many prayers going out for you and your family. I can only imagine how he touched lives in his short time here because he has touched mine just from pictures.
