L.F. Meece Obituary

MEECE, L.F. "JACK" - Our Dad passed from this life into eternal rest on Monday, September 12, 2001. He is preceded in death by his parents, Londo and Lula Meece; three sisters and two brothers. Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Connie Hunt (Ronnie) and Sharon Nolan (Butch); son, Mark Meece; five grandchildren, April Gates, Allyson Graves, Jordon Meece, John Wesley Hunt and Emily Nolan; five great grandchildren; his sweetheart of 32 years, Charlotte Chambers and her children, Earline Ledbetter (Tim), Angela Braden (Stephen) and their children. Jack retired from ORNL (X-10) after 38 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, yard work and carpentry. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. The family would like to give a special thanks to Avalon Hospice for their wonderful and loving care. Visitation with the family will be held today, Tuesday, from 6:00-8:00pm at the Highland West Funeral Home 865-693-9547. Online guestbook at highlandmemorialparks.com
