Larry Mink

Knoxville, TN

LARRY MINK - age 74, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at UT Medical Center. Larry was retired from Fountain Bowling Lanes, he was a lover of U.T. football and his grandchildren. Larry was of the Baptist Faith.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Mink; wife, Janice Mink; and daughter, Laura Wolfenbarger. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Billy Turpin; grandchildren, Brandon and Katy Turpin; brother and sister-in-law, John H. and Judy Mink; several nieces and one nephew.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at North Broadway. A 7:30 p.m. chapel service with Rev. Brett Williams officiating will follow. The family will meet 10:45 a.m. Saturday 30, 2017 at Trentville Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment.

To Larry's family,

Larry was a close friend since the day he started at Fountain Lanes. He had a big heart, was a very hard working guy, and always gave 100 percent. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. His memory will always be a blessing.
