Kingston, TN
Laura Jean "Jeannie" Robinson, age 53, of Kingston, Tennessee, peacefully departed on Sunday April 24, 2016. Born in La Follette, Tennessee, she later moved to Kingston and was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and compassion for all people. During her career she worked at Purdue University and the University of Tennessee Law Department. Jeannie was a legal secretary for a large law firm in Knoxville.
She is preceded in death by father, Clarence William Robinson and infant brother, Jason Christopher Robinson. Jeannie is survived by precious and loving daughter, Clara Ruth Robinson; mother, Winnie R. Cribbs; brother, David Robinson; sister and brother in law, Suzanne and Kirk Oran; niece, Laura Oran; nephew, Zack Oran; special cousin, Gwen and husband, Freeman; devoted friend, Lee Wade and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at Kingston United Methodist Church, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 5:30pm to 6:45pm, followed by a celebration of Jeannie's life at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kingston United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 248, Kingston,TN 37763 or to a favorite charity. Arrangements by Cremation Options, Inc. So sorry to hear about Jeannie. We used to have some great times when we were younger. My heart goes out to Suzanne and the rest of the family. Keeping you all in my prayers with love.

I was so sorry to hear about Jeannie. I hadn't seen her in a long time but I have fond memories when I think about all of us girls running around when we were young(she was always Suzanne's little sister).l will keep the family in my prayers knowing what a hard time this must be.
