You were the perfect oldest cousin. We all loved you and looked up to you, and you were so kind to all of us. The Howe men are strong and gentle. That is what you were.

Time moves on but my love for you is as strong as ever and I think about you daily, just don't write here very often. Wish you could see all the grandchildren. JT and Rachel were baptized yesterday. I guess you already knew that, but just wanted to celebrate with you. Love your Bren

Now 4 years have passed since you went to heaven. You are always in my heart and in my thoughts. Time and circumstance will never alter my love for you. The ring is still there as it should be. You are my forever love.

According to the calender, it's been 2years and one month since you went to heaven. You are missed now as much as you were the day you went away. You are always in my thoughts and I am trying to carry on as you would wish. That little band of gold you put on my finger all those years ago is still there. One day we will be together again but until then, you are in my heart.

Dad you were a very great man. I learned so many things from you that have shaped me into who I am today. Your generousity was unparrelled and you always spent lots of time with Scot and I. I think of you often and wonder what you are doing. I was told that someone saw you in a dream and said you were the guide for a fishing crew, probably the lord new of your fondness of fishing. Hopefully you have had a chance to fish with your dad in heaven. I am so glad Scot talked me into going to see you shortly after having taken my new job. I am trying to make you proud by being responsible with hard work ethics. I am reminded of you by the "Cardinal" bird. it is my simble of you in heaven. You know the meaning of this. As I said to you before I left you, I hope that I can be half the father to my son that you were to me. Until we met again you will always be in my thoughts. Love Michael

After reading all of the great things that people have said about Mr Fletcher in this guest book, it is nice to know that I too had the pleasure of being both entertained and enlightened by Scot and Mike's father. I can only hope that people will have the same fond memories of me when I pass someday. We will miss him until we see him again. My sincere condolences-

As a friend of Scot’s, I am fortunate to have known Mr. Fletcher during and subsequent to growing up in Marietta. Mr. Fletcher was one of the best talkers and listeners I will ever know. He could get anyone engaged in a conversation shortly after a simple “Hello.” Even though years would subsequently span between seeing him, when I did he would launch right into a conversation as if we had just talked the day before. All of us who were lucky to know him are better off for it, and the world is a quieter place without him. Brenda, Mike, and Scot, my prayers are with you and the rest of your family.

So sorry to hear about Mike leaving us for a better place. Talked to him many times on the phone when he was at Lockheed. He had tried to get me a job at Marietta and help me escape CA. Knew him mostly through Carolyn. He was a great man and fellow employee at Lockheed Martin. I will miss him very much.

I was priveliged to have spent time with Mr. Fletcher on numerous occasions having become close friends with Scot in 1996. His generosity of spirit and good humor were certainly passed on to his children and though he will be sorely missed, his spirit lives on thorugh them. Our prayers are with you.

The 14 of us could not have had a better example of the oldest cousin than Mike. He treasured family and compiled for us a priceless collection of information. And we will honor him and love him always. We will see him again soon and are so thankful that he never was able to catch us to cut off our ears, as he so many times threatened.

Mike you will be forever a very special friend to Kathy and I. Our sympathy is extended to Brenda and family. We loved sharing the good times together on the trips to Florida and Alexandria. You and I had a great deal in common from the Air Force to our Masonic experiences, Clan MacLeod fellowship and both of our wifes being nurses. Even though many miles separated us, we will be forever thankful for all of those common interests that brought us together. You will be missed. You're Friends.
