MYRTLE LEDBETTER Obituary

LEDBETTER, MYRTLE "NANA" DIXON WILLIAMS - age 92, of Maryville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. She was a faithful member of Wildwood Baptist Church. She operated Myrtle's Beauty Shop in Wildwood for many years and enjoyed making quilts and sewing for the family. She loved her family, and friends, and cherished being "Nana" to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: parents, Aaron and Lillie Dixon; two husbands, Oliver Williams, Sr. and Homer Ledbetter; beloved daughter, Alda Williams Riden; grandson, Craig Williams; and step-grandson, Dennis Fleming; step son-in-law, Ron Fleming; four brothers, Walter, Homer, Johnny, and Hulet Dixon; three sisters, Lora Mae Dixon, Nora Holt, and Marusha Plemons. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Oliver Jr. and Sue Williams, Bud and Carolyn Williams, Larry and Phyllis "Susie" Williams all of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Wilda and Kenneth Cornett of Maryville; son-in-law, Bill Riden and wife, Zula of Lenoir City; step-daughter, Aven Fleming of Crossville; stepson and wife, Dennis Rodney and Sandy Ledbetter of Wartburg; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with funeral service at 2:00 PM.
