Nancy G Yoder, age 81, passed away of Friday, June 16, 2017 at her home after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Although the disease slowly robbed her of her ability to breathe, Nancy never lost her amazing sense of humor and her incredible grace. Her bright spirit and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Gillenwater and her son, Mark Gillenwater. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bill Yoder; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and John Batson, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jamie Gillenwater; step children, Bill, Stu, Terri, and Dan Yoder; grandchildren, Jessica Gillenwater and partner, John Mowbray, Joseph Gillenwater, John Batson and Matthew Batson; great-grandson, Abel Mowbray; special friend of many years, Barbara Cavalaris. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, June 22, 2017 for an 11:00am graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery. Psalm 90:12 - So "teach us to number our days that we may present to you a heart of wisdom". Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.

Nancy was such a sweet lady, and I was sad to hear of her passing.

I would like to offer my condolences to Bill and his family on the loss of Nancy. I never had the opportunity to meet Nancy, but, I heard loving comments from Bill regarding her, so I feel I know how special of a lady she was.
She has her wings now and is soaring like as an angel.

I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Nancy at Valley Bank; She was always willing to go out of her way to help you, and was full of beauty and grace... simply a lovely woman! I am confident that everyone that knew her agrees!
I know that her family will miss her dearly.... but oh, what a legacy!
