Nicholas McMillan Obituary

McMILLAN, NICHOLAS "NICK" - age 20 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 25, 2006. He was of the Baptist faith. Nick loved working on cars. He was preceded in death by: his grandfathers, Carl McGill and Gene McMillan. Survivors: fiancé, Nicole Williams; daughter, Lexie McMillan; mother and stepfather, Carla McMillian and Darrell Townsend; father and stepmother, Danny and Davonda McMillan; sister, Jessica McMillan; grandmothers, Dottie McGill and Betty McMillan; several aunts, uncles, cousins; special friend, Bobby Perry; and a host of other friends. Service 8:00 p.m. Monday, Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain City, Rev. Mark Hicks officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers: Dwayne, Donnie, Johnny, Bobby, Jason and Gary. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers donations be made for Baby Lexie College Fund. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.

To the parents of Nick.
I was honored to know Nick for a short time. He came into Suntrust with a smile on his face and his visits were always joyful. I did not know the other 2 children but my heart goes out to you. This is not something as a parent we ever think we'll have to live through. I have 2 boys and pray everyday for their safety. Mrs. Mc Gill, please know we at Suntrust have you and your family in our prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Nick was a bright spot in my life. I looked for to seeing him each week.He always had the same greeting for me that he knew always put a smile on my face. We always talked about each of our families. His smile & his beautiful eyes stay fresh in my mind. A good friend like him doesn't come along everyday, I'm so glad we were friends. My prayers are with you and your family.

Wow.. i never thought i would be writing something like this to one of my friends! Nick.. i cant describe how i feel right now.. i just cant forget me and you and casey always hanging out~ you were so hilarious.. and a wonderful person to be around** the last memory of you sadly.. was when you came and visited me at walwart.. it was great seeing you and i hate that it wouldve been the last time i did, but it will forever stay with me as well as the memories of us hanging out! i miss you nick.. and you are thought about everyday.. including your brother! you were like my big bro.. my prayers go out to nicole and your family! again i miss you and love you!!!!!~

My Dearest Nick,

This is such a sad time for all that knew you. I had you so many times in my classes and you always tried to start some mischief but in an enjoyable way. I just saw you and Bobby at WalMart, where you walked with me throughout the store. That's the last hug I will ever get from you and I will cherish it always. I didn't know Nick that well, but I talked to him a few times and i know he talked to my mom quite a bit...I know it is hard on his family and friends so our prayers are with them. God Bless.

Prayers r with the family and friends. At least we had the 2 boys on earth even tho it was for a short time they accomplish alot by being here helping family and friends. Being theirselves. I hv been told told severals times childrens r on loan from heaven they r gods angels doing his work on earth when its finish he (god ) needs them back in heaven. the pain never goes away and they r always with u especially in ur heart.
