RICHARD VANDERHORST Obituary

VANDERHORST, RICHARD (DICK) - age 87 of Knoxville passed away Saturday at Tennova Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy during WW ll aboard the USS Cotton, retired from Plasti Line Sign Company and a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Dick was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Virginia Vanderhorst; his daughters and sons in law Pam & Pete Hinkel, Nancy & Michael Hasselbeck and son Todd Martin Vanderhorst all of Dallas, Texas; granddaughters Heather and Allison Vaughn and great grandson Dillon Worley. Online condolences may be offered at www.rosemortuary.com. Funeral Mass Thursday 12:00 P.M. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church with Father Chris Michelson officiating. Interment will follow at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery John Sevier Highway. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church 7200 Brickey Lane Knoxville, Tennessee 37918. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. Wednesday with a vigil service to follow at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
