Ruby Byrd Obituary

BYRD, RUBY R. - age 72 of Knoxville, passed away October 31, 2007. A member of Atkins Baptist Church and retired from Revenue Recovery Corporation after over 30 years of service. She was a graduate of Knoxville Business College. Preceded in death by Paul Smith and Robert Byrd; parents, Robert and Charlotte Snodgrass; brothers, Wayne and Gordon Snodgrass. Survived by sisters, Alma Reed and Dorothy Hart; nieces, Alma Jean Dail and husband Bernard, Jr., Sherry Lawson and husband Robert; nephews, Kim Snodgrass, Ronnie Hart and wife, Lois; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; special friend, Shirley Millsaps. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 pm in the chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home. www.mynattfh.com
