Ruby and Bob were both such kind and gracious people. I am deeply saddened that they have gone on before us. I lived just up Donahue Road from them as a little girl and rode to Chesney School with them when I was in first grade. One day my dad (Everett) was late picking me up from their house and they asked me to stay for supper. I did and had a great time being the center of attention and eating Ruby's fried chicken. Every day thereafter I wanted to eat supper with them but my mother said they were only asking me "to be polite." I never believed her - I KNEW they were asking me because they liked ME so much! What a wonderful memory of feeling so loved and cared for at six years of age by these dear people.

"Ruby Bob" was one of my favorite cousin-in-law. I always enjoyed visiting with her and Bob, and after his death, with her. She was a very warm and loving person. Her knowledge of the Donahue history always peaked my interest. Bob and Ruby were two of Mom and Dad's (Bess and E. L./Gib) favorite cousins.

Dear Family,
I am truly saddened by Aunt Ruby's passing. She leaves a leagcy of kindness, respect, and love for all who knew her. As a child I remember her as always being a true "Lady". I see her with uncle Bob in heaven wanting no tears to be shed but smiles in knowing how happy they are to be together again.
Distance prevents me from being with you at this time but know my prayers, thoughts and love are with you.
With love from Utah,
Diana and family
