RUBY MAE HENSON

HENSON, RUBY MAE - passed away September 25, 2014, two days after her 86th birthday. She was born in Winona, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Ruby Smith; and sisters, Madeline and Frances. She is survived by loving husband of 59 years, Major William "Bill" Henson, USMC retired; son, Jack (Jayne); daughters, Gail Fersner (Sonny) and Pam Coleman (Tom); grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer Thompson (Matt), Jessica Fosbinder (Daniel), Christopher Coleman (Pamela); great grandchildren, Shelby, Ethan, and Norah Thompson, Madeleine Mae, and Anderson Fosbinder; sister, Virginia Malcuit; and brother, Ruben Smith. She was full of life and devoted herself to her family and her church. Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27th, from 2:00 - 4:00 at Powell Presbyterian Church. A private interment will be held at a later date. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m., with the Rev. Jonathan Warren officiating.
