Sammy Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, SAMMY LEE - age 53 of Dickson, TN, formally of Knoxville, TN was suddenly taken Thursday morning January 5, 2006 in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by parents C.H. "Jim" & Jo Williams. He was a wonderful father, brother, son & friend, a horse enthusiast & an avid outdoorsman, strong willed with a lust for life & always young at heart. He was a second-generation elevator mechanic. Sammy is survived by sons Brent Lee of Knoxville, Bobby Joe of Dickson; & their mother Tama Williams Young of Knoxville also by his special girls Autumn Tomlinson & Amy Reece; sister & brother-in-law; Libby & Rudy Richardson of Dandridge; brother & sister-in-law; Rodney & Lora Williams. He was the beloved nephew of Francis Williams, Bill & Loretta Summitt, & Larry & Francis DeVall. He was the adored uncle of niece April Richardson & nephews Kenny & Todd Richardson & Craig & Brad Williams; & a host of cousins & friends. Service 8 pm Sunday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Rev. Charlie Lynch officiating. Family & friends will meet 10 am Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel & proceed to Hillcrest Cemetery for interment at 11:30 am. He was dearly loved & will be missed more than he could ever know. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
