KENDALLVILLE - Brian E. Graves, 50, of Kendallville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1974, in Coldwater, Michigan, to Gene L. and Laura L. (Hackman) Graves.
Brian was a 1993 graduate of Angola High School. He went on to receive a ?Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1998, and attended the prestigious Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration for a summer.
Brian was an accountant at Dana Corporation for several years.
He was a long-time member of the Trinity Church United Methodist in Kendallville.
Brian collaborated with his fellow peers at New Hope Clubhouse in Kendallville.
Surviving are his mother, Laura Graves, of Durham, North Carolina; and a brother, Kevin (Alisha Imel-Graves) Graves, of Corpus Christy, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene L. Graves.
A celebration of Brian's life will take place at a later date.
A private graveside service will take place at Pleasant Lake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to New Hope Clubhouse in Kendallville, Trinity Church United Methodist, Kendallville or National Alliance on Mental Illness.

I always enjoyed speaking with Brian as he passed by the police department. He would always go out of his way to say hi to everyone and didn't forget a name. Praying for his family and all that knew him. God speed buddy

I am so sorry for your loss. There are so many great memories with Brian. He was a kind, caring and intelligent man. Brian was a freind to many and his presence will be missed. Our whole family knew him and we give our condolences to your extended loved ones.
