Donabell Huff Obituary

FREMONT — Donabell Huff, 93, of Fremont, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, at Northern Lakes Nursing Home in Angola.
Mrs. Huff was born on June 24, 1924, in LaGrange County to Everett and Audrey (Mehl) Eagleson.
Living her lifetime in LaGrange and Steuben counties, she retired from Purity Market in Howe and LaGrange where she had been the manager for many years. Donabell was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church in Fremont and the sewing circle of the church. She also was a member of the East Springfield Township Home Extension Club and East Springfield Ladies Aide.
On Aug. 26, 1944, in LaGrange she married Charles Dayton Huff. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 2004.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Patsy and John Herbert Main of LaGrange, Phyllis and Tony Wilder of Fremont and Dianna Penick of Angola; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Phyllis Eagleson of Howe.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles E. Huff; two sisters, Maxine Bolin and Kathryn Gravit; and two brothers, Donovan and Wayne Eagleson.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange. Pastor Darin Hendrey will officiate.
Burial will follow at East Springfield Cemetery in rural LaGrange.
Calling will take place on Friday at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Fremont United Methodist Church.
