Richard Prosser Obituary

AUBURN — Richard L. Prosser, 83, died Thursday, December 29, 2016, at his home in Auburn.
He was born February 5, 1933, in Auburn to Leonard Prosser and Gretchen (Rowe) Prosser Tetters.
Dick was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a plumber, working through and a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 166 of Fort Wayne. He was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Auburn, the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post 97 of Auburn.
He married Kay Lynch on September 28, 1957 at Knapp Springs in Rome City and she survives in Auburn. Also surviving are three sons and a daughter, Bruce (Amy) Prosser of Warsaw, Kurt Prosser of Auburn, Linda (Brad) Lehman of Onsted, Michigan, and Kent (Stacy) Prosser of Fort Wayne; three daughters-in-law, Linda Prosser of Waterloo, Fran Prosser Martin of Ashley and Emily Prosser of Auburn; a sister, Patricia Thomas of Lakeland, Florida; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Sparkman, Adam (Megan) Prosser, Tara (Josh) Remfrey, Torree (Eric) Pepple, Saige Prosser, Haley Prosser, Reece Prosser, Brady Prosser, Malena Lehman, Julia Lehman, Devin Moore, Kaitlyn Baney, Adeline Baney and Gracie Prosser; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Roy Prosser and Brian Prosser; and a sister, Katrina Weatherill.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Auburn. Calling is Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn and also one hour prior to the service Wednesday, from 10:30- 11:30 a.m., at the church. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the start of visitation.
Preferred memorials are to Masses or the burn unit at Riley Hospital for Children.
