LAOTTO - Sandra "Sandy" Gaff, 83, of LaOtto, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Advent Health Campus in Seabring, Florida.
She was born on March 12, 1941, in Garrett, Indiana, to Jay and Helen (Sloffer) Stonestreet.
Sandy worked along side her father for many years, making pallets at the family business, J Box.
She was a homemaker in her later years and enjoyed spending time with her family - especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. Sandy loved spending time at Hogback Lake, camping, wintering in Florida, and trips to the casino. In addition to her family, her dogs brought her a great deal of joy.
On July 28, 1961, in Churubusco, Indiana, she married Samuel Gaff. He preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 2024.
Survivors include her children, James Griffis, of LaOtto, Amie (Patrick) Kumfer, of Pretty Lake and Ross (Michele) Gaff, of LaOtto; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Tom (Sue) Stonestreet, of Ari, Indiana.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sally Shank, of Huntertown.
Private graveside services will be held at Perry Township Cemetery near Huntertown, Indiana.
Contributions in Sandy's memory may be directed to the Humane Society of Noble County, or an animal charity of the donor's choice.
