Atlas James Cummings 2021-2024 Atlas James Cummings, age 3, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024. He was born July 12, 2021 in Kansas City to Troy Cummings and Linnessa Lemons. Atlas was a happy, vibrant, curious, confident "big" boy who loved preschool and making new friends. He was a loving, sweet boy who gave the best hugs but had a little ornery streak and didn't mind getting silly now and then. Naturally curious, Atlas loved tractors, combines, big red trucks, and dinosaurs. The outdoors was his playground, where he enjoyed walks and hikes with his parents and anything water-related. He loved playing with his cousins and visiting his grandparents. Atlas was the light of our lives who brought great joy and laughter to everyone who knew and loved him. Atlas is greatly loved by all his family. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Roger W. Andres; and great-grandmother, Ellen Gallagher. Survivors include his parents, Troy and Linnessa; grandparents, Doug & Cecilia Gallagher, David Cummings, and Stephen & Toni Dennis; great-grandparents, Debra Fleshman, Nellie Andres, and Don Gallagher; aunts and uncles, Sheaney Mueller (Tony), Jacob Lemons (Trevor), Staci Cummings (Jason McAlester), Chad Cummings (Brenda), Austin Cummings, and Aaron Cummings; numerous cousins and other extended family members.
