Marion Eskridge Obituary

Marion Glen Eskridge, II, of Kansas City Missouri died on May 27, 2025 as a result of an extended illness. He was 62 years old. Glen grew up in Camden Point, Missouri and attended North Platte Elementary, Junior High, and High School, then worked at TWA prior to becoming ill. Glen is survived by his wife, Carol Trojovsky Eskridge, his daughter, Claudia Jo ("CJ") Heindel, his sisters Gayle Eskridge and Jill Eskridge Elliott, his grandchildren, Shyla and Damien Heindel, and his nephews Caleb and Colten Evans and their children. Glen was preceded in death by his father, Marion Glen Eskridge, his mother, Lenore Eskridge Herzogenrath and stepfather Harry Herzogenrath, his brother Lee Eskridge, and his grandparents, Lee and Marie Eskridge, and Leonard and Agnes Ladd. As a child, Glen enjoyed working on the farm with his dad. During his teenage years, Glen began competing in motocross and was a life-long fan of the sport. Glen loved fast cars and had an expansive knowledge of sports cars. He was also a lover and protector of animals – especially dogs. Glen was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and supported them for many years. He was an avid reader and researcher. Glen was a lover of all music and could name a song very quickly from just a few notes. When he was 18, Glen's life changed forever when his daughter CJ was born. Glen's life changed again when he was 32, when he met his future wife, Carol Trojovsky, who became the love of his life and was forever by his side. They were married March 11, 1996. In 1997 Glen received a life saving liver transplant and referred to the days thereafter as "bonus days." He touched many lives and was a supportive friend to all who knew him. He also had a fabulous sense of humor and quick wit. A private memorial gathering will be held by his family.
