Mark Cook Obituary

Mark E. Cook, Independence, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024.
He was born May 9, 1975 to William E. and Sherry J. (Moon) Cook in Independence, Missouri.
Mark married his soulmate, Amy, on June 18, 2000. Their love blossomed, welcoming their children, Allison Haider (Cole), Jacob, and Grant. He is also survived by his parents; sister, Laura Hoffman (Jason), and her children, Jonathan and Katie Hoffman; maternal grandparents, Dean and Donna Axsom; sister-in-law, Melissa Degenfelder (David), and her children, Tyler and Abby Degenfelder.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Etta Mae Dutton and William N. Cook; and mother-in-law, Judy Kirk.
Professionally, Mark served with dedication at Lake City Army Ammunition and channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into his own venture, BMC Repair. His work ethic was surpassed only by the love he poured into his family and hobbies.
Mark's love for motorcycles led him to the Missouri Baptist Bikers Fellowship, combining his passion for the open road. He found serenity in camping under the stars, a delight in smoking foods for loved ones, friends, and even strangers. He also found joy in the pleasures of classic country music.
Above all, Mark's life was a testament to the love he had for his Savior and his family; they truly were his world. His legacy endures in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to experience the warmth of his presence.
