Max Poster Obituary

Max Hillan Poster 1981 – 2025 Maysville, Missouri.Max Poster, age 44, passed away on September 6, 2025. He was born February 16, 1981, in Dallas County, Texas to Craig and Mary (Hillan) Poster. On November 25, 2004, Max married Stephanie Barton, on the family farm. He loved spending time with Stephanie and their four children. He enjoyed making his famous chocolate chip cookies. Max had a love for the outdoors. He could be found at the river (proudly calling himself a "river pirate"), fishing, camping, hunting, or just enjoying the peace of nature. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Duane Barton. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie; children, Travis, Brayden, Ellie, and Logan; and numerous other family and friends. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 10th, from 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm. at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville. There will be a private graveside service on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Memorial contributions may be made in Max's honor to the family.
