Nadine Whitehead

Nadine Whitehead, 65, of St Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 at a Savannah, MO health care facility. She was born October 2, 1959 in Billings, MT, daughter of Merthyl (Ferguson) and Lawrence Warn. They lived in Worden, MT, where she joined older brother Rob, followed by three younger siblings. In 1967 the family moved to Miles City, MT where Nadine graduated from Custer County High School. While there, she was active with Deca, FHA, was a Matador and member of the swim team. Nadine married Jeff Whitehead on August 21, 1993 in Sidney, MT. Nadine most recently owned and operated County Road Cakes, and had a Mobile Notary Service. She spent much of her time in the kitchen and her garden. She loved baking, cooking, canning, and she was very artistic and creative. She often used those talents in her crafting, baking or making greeting cards. Nadine also enjoyed playing golf, bunco, cribbage, she loved her dogs and adored her time with the grandkids. Nadine proudly served as a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since high school. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: husband, Jeff Whitehead of St. Joseph, daughters, Danita Jordan of Yankton, SD and Chandra (Jeremy) Shanks of Colton, SD, grandchildren, Brynlee Shanks, CJ and Brianna Jordan, her step-daughter, Amber (Austin) Perez of Omaha, NE, siblings, Rob (Janice) Warn of Miles City, MT, Diona (Jerry) Austill of Great Falls, MT, Russell (April) Warn of Fresno, TX, and Del Norwood of Billings, MT, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Whitehead has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday.
