Robert Dean "Bobby" Hill

Robert Dean "Bobby" Hill passed away on September 6th at he Aspire senior living center in Platte City, MO. Bobby was born on November 16,th, 1939 in Weston, MO to Mabel Hellman Hill and A.P. Hill. He was a lifelong resident of Weston. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers Melvin Hill, Harold Hill, Jack Hill, Darius Hill, Richard Hill and sisters Patsy Hill Roberts, Doris Hill Miller, and Norma Hill Rowland. Bobby is survived by his sister Alice Hill Wittmis of Denton, TX and 27 nieces and nephews. Bobby was an excellent small engine mechanic and worked on many mowers for the residence of Weston. He also was a lawn keeper and took care of the landscaping at Graceland Cemetery . Bobby also assisted with parking at the West Platte football games and was an avid fan and supporter of West Platte sports. He could be seen most days walking in Weston to his brother Dicky Hills garage, frequenting restaurants in town or working on mowers at the family home. Funeral services will be held at Vaughn Funeral Home on October 11, 2025 at 11 A.M. A private inurnment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Weston. Memorial contributions can be given to the Aspire Senior Living of Platte City, MO. Bobby was friendly, kind and always willing to help others.
