Steven Beattie Obituary

Steven Ray (Steve) Beattie, 62, of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2025 at his residence. Steve was born in St. Joseph, MO, on June 18, 1962 to the late Billy and Kay Beattie. He was a 1980 graduate of Savannah High School and during his career he lived and worked in Colorado, Hawaii, Texas and back home in Missouri with Edwards Chemicals in St. Joseph and Kawasaki in Maryville. Mr. Beattie is survived by a son; Austin Beattie, sister; Sherry (Martin) Tunks, nephews; Tyler Tunks, Andrew (Ashley) Tunks, Mitchell (Maddie) Tunks, five great nieces and nephews, aunt; Kathy (Jim) Love and extended family members. A private family inurnment will be held at the Savannah Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to a charity of the donor's choice in Steve's memory. A register book will be available for signing at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel.

Steve, so glad that I got to know you for all of these years. Damn, we had some great times together, especially with our girlfriends, friends and classmates!! You will be missed!
Sherry, I know it has been very rough for you, losing your family members so close together.
I'm so glad that our families knew each other, and we were neighbors and friends!!
