Paul Andrew Peterson

Paul Andrew Peterson, 55, Lebanon, died Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. He was born Sept. 7, 1956, in Marion County. He was a farmer and member of the Marion County Cattlemen's Association and a board member of the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Mary Ann McFatridge Peterson. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Kaye Spalding Peterson; four sisters, Margaret Ann (Robert) Caldwell, Louisville, Martha (Dennis) Arterburn, Scottsville, Clara (Ronnie) Patton, East Bernstadt, Rita Baxter, Louisville; nine brothers, Billy Joe (Frances) Peterson, Maysville, Louis (Donna) Peterson, Springfield, David (Mary Alice) Peterson, Rineyville, Tommy (Cinda) Peterson, Shelbyville, Eddie (Debbie) Peterson, Somerset, Jerry (Donna) Peterson, Loretto, Steven (Donna) Peterson, Lexington, Donnie (Theresia) Peterson, Loretto, Harry (Cathy) Peterson, Paris, and a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard "Bob" and Imogene Spalding, Lebanon. Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. Thursday, June 28, at St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Mary's, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Ken Fortener was the celebrant. Pallbearers were his nephews, Jeffrey Caldwell, Kevin Spalding, Doug Peterson, Ricky Peterson, Jason Peterson, Ben Peterson, Patrick Arterburn, Tyler Arterburn, Andrew Patton, Joseph Peterson and his friend, Steve Downs. Honorary pallbearers are the other nephews and nieces and the members of the Marion County Cattlemen's Association. Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
