WEST ALLIS, Wis./MESA, Ariz. -- Michael J. Dascher, 76, of West Allis and Mesa, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, at his home in Mesa. He was born April 16, 1944, in Two Rivers, Wis., the son of the late Melvin and Mabel (Anderson) Dascher. Mike served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He volunteered for the Prison Fellowship of Milwaukee. Mike was a member of Broadway Christian Church in Mesa.
Mike is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer (Dave) Prowitz and Stephanie (Dave) LaCasse; five grandchildren, Olivia and Hattie Prowitz and David, Samuel and Lucas LaCasse; his companion, Marla Carling; the mother of his children, Charlene Flint; five siblings, Stephen (Gretchen) Dascher, Kenneth Dascher, Donald (Deb) Dascher, Caryn Nelson and Gregory Dascher. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Larry Nelson.
Funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, Wis. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be 11 a.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, PO Box 867, Menomonee Falls, Wis., 53052. Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
