Sylvester Knapton Obituary
HOLMEN - Sylvester "Chet" Knapton, 85, of Holmen passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Lakeview Health Center, West Salem.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 1425 Jackson Street, La Crosse. Pastor Bruce Bartel will officiate and burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service. A Masonic Service will be held prior to start of funeral service.

I remember Chet and his mother Viola through Masonic ties when I was in La Crosse. He was a quiet and gentlemanly fellow, and very good to his mom. May he rest in peace.
