William Kern Obituary

William Burnham Kern

October 16, 1967 - October 3, 2024

William (Bill) Kern will be remembered by his daughter, Sydney Grace, and many more devoted family and friends. Bill loved sharing a meal, alongside laughter and stories, with the people he loved. He believed that cooking and community could heal all wounds. He was always a free soul, that wandered and adventured. Many will remember his enthusiasm for game day and GenCon. Bill loved being surrounded by creative and inspiring people. He leaves behind his parents, Catherine (Paul) Mathison, Bill Kern Sr., his sisters, Michelle and Christine, the mother of his children, Rachel Beaty, and is pre deceased by his son, A.J. and brother,Charles. Bill was an honorable man, a kind friend, and a superhero of a dad. Please join us in remembering Bill at Jimmy's North Star on October 19th, 2024 at 11 a.m.

Syd-
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your father. Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. He was clearly a wonderful man who touched the lives of many, and I wish I had the chance to know him better. If there is ever anything you need, please let us know.
