Philip Hernandez

Nov. 25, 1969 - April 10, 2023 THE THRILL IS GONE Philip "Phil the Thrill" Hernandez, born November 25, 1969, passed away April 10, 2023 in his home in Porter Ranch, California. Phil was born to his loving parents Jose and Priscilla (D) Hernandez in Mission Hills, California. He attended Plummer Elementary, Sepulveda Junior High school and Graduated from Monroe Senior High School in 1987. Phil later attended Columbia School of Broadcasting and University of Phoenix, majoring in Business Administration. He was a member of The Street Team and on Air Personality for LA's 92.3, The Beat FM. He later went on to bartend at various bars and restaurants and eventually became a Tow Truck Driver. Phil had a son in June 0f 2000, Elias. Married his best friend and had triplets, Xavier, Viviana and Isaiah, to where he proudly named himself, "Triplet Dad". Unfortunately, he and his wife divorced but they remained confidants throughout the years. Phil is survived by his Father Jose Hernandez, sister Patricia Hernandez-Arce (Zyanya), sister Catherine Hernandez (Renee, Andrew). His four children Elias, Xavier, Vivianna and Isaiah and his granddaughter Layla. Philip will be missed by all.
