Violet Lamb Obituary

VIOLET LAMB Passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2005 at Studio City Rehabilitation Center, Studio City , California after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Born in London, England on July 15, 1930. Violet immigrated to the United States in 1959 and worked as a governess for a short period, then married and became a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Raymond; and loving son, James. Violet leaves behind sisters, Doris and Betty; and her brother, Robert of London, England. Violet was a resident of the San Fernando Valley for 35 years. Violet was a big movie fan and loved c lassic films and film revivals. She was also a great video poker player and always dreamed the next push of a button would bring untold riches. She loved traveling, gardening, crossword puzzles and experiencing the world. She was always ready to set out on an adventure and now is experiencing her greatest adventure yet. She will be greatly missed. Services will be private.
